Let the "Staycation" begin....

It's tradition in my family that we go on some sort of vacation every year besides Lake Powell. Since my parents just got home from their mission a month ago, they haven't had time to plan anything. So instead, we planned a "Staycation". The staycation was planned for 4 fun-filled days at my parents house, hence "Staycation". We started off Staycation by going to Lagoon. To be honest, I haven't really been to Lagoon to ride the rides since I worked there 12 yrs. ago. I have to say, I had the best time not only because I was with my family, but I truly forgot how much fun Lagoon is, especially with all the new rides. The best part was seeing how excited my niece and nephews got while going on the rides. The only thing that hasn't changed at Lagoon... it's still the "White Trash Capitol" of the state! :)

Me and my nephew James

My niece Kate and sister Ashley... Poor Kate already has the "Belnap Flush" going on and we had only been there for 15 minutes at this point

This is what happens when you put your hand to your face after you get your hand stamped when entering the park... My nephew Bennett

My sweet nephew Henry

My niece Kate, and nephews James and Bennett. Getting any of the kids to look at the camera, let alone the same direction was IMPOSSIBLE

My sister Ashley and Me. What else is there to do while waiting in line for rides than take "Self Portraits"

My nephew Will's attempt to eat a Popsicle. Notice how I said "attempt" since most of it ended up all over him

My brother Josh, Me, sisters Baby and Jen, brother-in-law Timm and sister-in-law Holly just before we rode the Skycoaster

I was pretty excited to ride the Skycoaster... it had been 12 yrs. since I last rode it

This is what favorite Aunts do... take their nephew on a ride 3 times in a row that gets them SOAKING WET while guarding their nephew from getting wet himself
